This 12-acre park parallels the shore of Fishkill Marsh and Fishkill Creek, which flows through the marsh to the Hudson River. By contributing to chronolog, you’ll help create a record of the impacts of rising sea levels and help inform future steps we can take to conserve this irreplaceable habitat for frogs and muskrats, bald eagles and ospreys, American shad and striped bass, and large flocks of migratory birds.

Madam Brett Park

This 19-acre public park sits on two peninsulas constructed in the Hudson River in the 1800s. Formerly an industrial site, it now contains lawns, berms and wetlands. It was one of the first projects recognized by the Sustainable SITES Initiative. By contributing to chronolog, you’ll help create a record of the shoreline, informing future steps we can take to keep the park safe and inviting for people and wildlife.

Long Dock Park

This 612-acre preserve contains the largest tidal swamp in the northern Hudson River estuary and forested uplands well-suited to accommodate the wetlands’ inland migration, which is a projected result of sea level rise. By contributing to chronolog, you’ll help create a record that will inform future steps we can take to conserve this unique and irreplaceable habitat that sustains a remarkable variety of wildlife – from otters and dragonflies to snapping turtles and ducks. 

Ramshorn-Livingston Observation Tower

This 96-acre preserve contains 3,500 feet of Hudson River shoreline along shallows and freshwater tidal flats that provide important spawning, nursery and feeding habitats for many fish species. The riverbank is prone to erosion that can impact these habitats. By contributing to chronolog, you’ll help create a record that will inform future steps we can take to keep the shoreline safe and inviting for people and wildlife.
