Looking from the parking lot off Bay Area Blvd, follow the progress of revegetation on Section 5.  Native trees, shrubs and wetland plants provide food and shelter for native species while improving water quality and reducing runoff.

Exploration Green Conservancy is an all-volunteer nonprofit corporation that organizes groups for  planting and maintenance of native plants, conducts community events, and provides educational activities at Exploration Green.
