The Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge is the first mixed-use wildlife crossing in North America. It's sucess demonstrates how we can live with wildlife and nature. In the grassland below the Land Bridge is a 250,000 gallon cistern that stores rainwater run off from the Land Bridge and neighboring development. The reclaimed water is used for irrigating the trees and a the two wildlife watering holes, which are adjacent to the wildlife blinds. All mammal species known to reside in the park have been photographed on the Land Bridge.
