In May of 2024 Beaver Works Oregon led a volunteer planting of over 1000 willow cuttings here along South Fork Lake Creek. These willows will initally be fenced to allow them time to get established. After 3-5 years the fence will be removed allowing beaver to utilize the riparian shrubs as food and building material.
