The 118-acre Pleasure House Point property was acquired and preserved in July 2012 as a collaborative effort between the Trust for Public Land, the City of Virginia Beach and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. This chronolog station is capturing a small meadow in the upland/maritime forest. These photos are documenting native vegetation and invasive non-native species that the City of Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation and controlling to restore the native habitat at Pleasure House Point.
