About this site

This restored native prairie requires prescribed burning to maintain a healthy diverse ecosystem. Routine prairie burns are essential and we need your help to document the change we see each season. Help monitor the growth of native species, track invasive plants moving into the prairie, and the changes that occur after a prescribed burn occur.

Funding for this site is provided by Emergent BioSolutions.

About Woldumar Nature Association

Sitting on the Grand River with more than a mile of shoreline, Woldumar maintains over 5 miles of trails on over 180 acres of Maple and Beech woodland, tall grass prairie, and a pine plantation snuggled along 1.25 miles of the Grand River. Trails are open 365 days each year - we invite you to hike or ski on them anytime between dawn and dusk!

Woldumar is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation that attracts approximately 25,000 visitors every year. We continue to exist because of the support of our faithful members, energetic volunteers and treasured donors.
